 Matthew 7:25

“And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.”

There was a major Earthquake in Japan and as a result many Tsunami’s followed.

So too – in our lives we might have a huge moral failure (an earthquake of sorts) and there is a tremendous ripple effect that follows.

Waves of regret, mistrust, doubt, worry, anger.

Then a rebuilding must take place. The Red Cross comes in to patch you up... to set your broken bones, to lay you up in traction until some healing occurs…and then the real work begins.

The aftermath.

The clean-up.

Get rid of the evidence of the disaster. The toxic waste. Even the things you can’t see. The invisible can be even more deadly. The radiation can easily slip by undetected. And yet it’s lethal! That’s how the Enemy works…

His power is in the invisibility. Catching you off guard…unprotected.

Breathing freely as if in no danger.

If only we could have that “Satan Detector” installed like our “smoke detector” or our “gas detector”…warning us of the impending danger!

Then it’s time to pour a new foundation. Built on solid ground.

Then slowly begin building the walls. Working on the things that made the old house crumble. Putting in sturdier and more storm resistant framework to withstand future storms that will inevitably come – the difference will be in the preparation!

Name something proactive you can do today to prepare for an inevitable storm that will be hitting your household…none of us are immune.
