Birds just get it!

James 1:2
“My brothers and sisters, consider yourselves fortunate when all kinds of trials come your way, for you know that when your faith succeeds in facing such trials, the result is the ability to endure.”

Nothing prettier than a blue sky with white puffy clouds with a shade of grey!
The beauty of the blue is accentuated with the clouds in the midst.

Although I wouldn’t always choose it, life is more beautiful when our blue skies (easy days) are mixed with clouds (difficulty).  And look how the sun/Son peeks through our clouds.  Always still there.  We tend to appreciate the blue even more ‘because’ of the challenges in our life. If it was always easy and smooth sailing…how would we know the difference?

A bird literally just landed in front of me --
looked directly at me and cocked his head.

(I don’t make this stuff up!)
It was as if he heard my thoughts.

The blue skies are great for him.
Yet the clouds provide shade.
Cool him off.
And the ‘rainy’ clouds provide worms for him.
Then the puddle provides a bath, to wash him clean.

Don’t we need a good trial now and then to cool us off?
Humble us?
And don’t they provide 'food’ for thought?
Maybe help us reexamine where we are in life? What we’re made of based on how we react to the trial?
And aren’t we ultimately washed clean – cleansed in a sense?

There’s something about ‘going through’ that teaches us a thing or two.

Name one thing you appreciated about a recent cloud/trial in your life?
(ok, maybe you grumbled about it...but then came around to appreciate.)

Happy Trialssss to youuuuntil..we meet..againnn!’ ;)
